About the Project
Gravelle Laurentides is an initiative by SOPAIR and its partners to promote gravelle cycling in the Laurentians.
Our mission
The Société de plein air des Pays-d’en-Haut (SOPAIR) is a consultative and collaborative body that aims to ensure the conservation, sustainability, access and development of outdoor trails and other recreational spaces in the territory of the MRC des Pays-d’en-Haut.
In 2014, our organization changed its name and mission to better address the development challenges of the region. Following these numerous changes, SOPAIR also opened its membership to citizens, businesses, community organizations, municipalities, and others, inviting them to join its ranks to support its mission!

In line with its mission, SOPAIR has received certain mandates for the development and promotion of trails to optimize the benefits of outdoor activities in the Laurentians region, with an emphasis on sustainability, accessibility and respect for the environment.
The Gravelle Laurentides network is part of this vision, offering routes that minimize environmental impact while maximizing the cycling experience. We work closely with local municipalities, landowners and tourism stakeholders to ensure the long-term future of these routes.
